Hostelling International USA can help! Hostelling International is an expert on budget travel. Hostelling International-Chicago offers a road map to affordable and responsible travel through travel related educational programs, displays, and workshop series.

Travel Education
One way to achieve our desired outcome is through Travel Education. HI-Chicago's Travel Education workshops enhance the travel experience by increasing travel preparedness and teaching responsible travel. We offer several regular presentations, including:

• Travel to specific regions or countries
• Topic related travel discussion groups
• Travel authors and slide presentations

We welcome volunteers interested in giving a presentation about their favorite vacation destination, handy travel tips, or other travel-related topics. To join the volunteer team at the hostel, please go the Get Involved section.

World Travel 101 is HI-USA's flagship travel education program. It is intended for people with limited travel experience. World Travel 101 is presented at our HI-Chicago location, but is also available for presentation at high schools or college campuses. Participants are given specific travel-related information by experienced travelers and knowledgeable presenters.

HI-Chicago's travel services includes Hostelling International memberships, access to the International Booking Network for hostel accommodations in 49 countries, a travel guidebook library, and resources for travel in the U.S and abroad.

Hostel Library: A World of Guidebooks

Anywhere you want to go — the hostel has the guidebook for you! Lonely Planet and Let's Go have donated guidebooks for you to start planning your next trip. You are welcome to explore the world before you go in the library of the hostel on the 2nd floor.
